In May 2020:

• Some provinces are opening up their economies and providing guidance on stages of opening, in Ontario and in Alberta.

• A fundraiser for #JusticeForRegis to support the legal and family needs of the family who lost their family member due to suspected police violence. I wrote about some tips on attending the march on Saturday May 30 here.

• I create a guide geared toward young folks or sex workers who are wondering about CERB.

• I write about court experiences in northern or remote communities and why it is important to include them court modernization discussions.

• I wrote about Indigenous needs during a pandemic demanding culturally competent responses.

• I wrote about Ontario’s emergency measures endangering marginalized, racialized groups.

• I wrote about three Indigenous women leaders who inspire me.

In the news:

• Sexual assault charges against a military member in Colorado Springs, USA.

• Call for more diversity in the energy sector.
